Developers at the Eclipse Project will soon be able to tap into Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) 3.0, thanks to a project spearheaded by Oracle.  Oracle said it is helping build an open source version of EJB 3.0's Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tool under the Eclipse Public License. The platform focuses on design-time tooling and supports installation in any J2EE-compatible application server.

  • Joomla 1.5, old templates and the rest...
Today Joomly 1.5 final was officially released. Finally it is done although it was a long, a very long birth. Congrats to the community and the developers. With 1.5 being now the official Joomla version, I decided to massivly reduce my old commercial templates for Mambo 4.5.x and Joomla 1.0.x in price. You will find them over at www.mamboshop.com (http://www.mamboshop.com/) for onyl 9.99 Eur (taxes already included). As I am not active in the Joomla community anymore, I only will convert a few templates to 1.5 when I find the time to do so. So, if you ever wanted one of my templates, get them now. So, good luck to you all. Sometimes I really miss the old days, especially the nice Joomla community. In case you miss me take a look at www.odoo.tv (http://www.odoo.tv/), which is my new baby. A german website with outdoor videos.
